Our manufacturing standard
Every product that carries one of our brands is made to U.S. dietary supplement requirements. We check the following before we work with a manufacturer, and again for every batch.
AThe facility
FDA-registered facility
The manufacturing site is registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as a food facility, and the registration is renewed every two years.

cGMP for dietary supplements
The site follows current Good Manufacturing Practice for dietary supplements, confirmed by an independent third-party audit.

Written quality agreement
Specifications, testing duties, change notices and recall responsibilities are agreed in writing before production starts.
BIngredients and batches
Identity testing of every ingredient
Each incoming dietary ingredient is tested to confirm it is what its specification says.

Each lot is tested for identity, strength, heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium, mercury) and microbial limits, and ships with a Certificate of Analysis.

CLabels, import and after sale
Compliant labeling
Supplement Facts panel, ingredient and allergen statements, and the FDA disclaimer on every structure/function statement. We notify the FDA of each statement within 30 days of marketing.

For imported products, we verify each foreign supplier as the U.S. importer.

Adverse event reporting
A U.S. contact address is printed on every label. Serious adverse events are reported to the FDA within 15 business days.
